From Maria, the bride:
We met each other at school graduation day, so it was really important for us to get married the same date 11 years later. We decided to invite only old school friends and close relatives to make the wedding cosy and intimate and spend a weekend together in Italy. Our planners from Nuancè suggested the south part of the country near Amalfi coast as the best choice for this purpose.
It was not easy to find the venue for our date, we spent hours watching our planner’s suggestions. But when we have seen the photos and videos from Domus Laeta, we fell in love with that and decided that it would be the best location for us. This charming private residence placed on a hill in a small town called Guignano. It has an incredible sea view and we put the table for dinner to observe it. The ceremony took place on the old stairs among lemon trees. I was so nervous but it was worth it. Now we can honestly say it was one of the most emotional moments in life.
We didn’t dream about huge celebration and we don’t like to be in center of attention a lot. So our plan was to share best moments of our lives with people that are really important for us and have a beautiful and memorable day that will be close to our tastes.
In the evening hundreds of candles were lighted and hanged from above us. Some friends were playing guitar and singing songs from our school graduation party. The atmosphere was very romantic, intimate and friendly. Everybody was so happy at that moment.
We got more than expected, and we know that it was unforgettable day for everyone!
From Ksenia Korennaya, wedding planner and event designer, Nuancè
The wedding of Maria and Max was one with truly magical atmosphere. We found an amazing family house with a breathtaking view as a venue. It has been owned and managed by the same family since the 17th century, so there are many family heirlooms, books and memorable photos inside. The residence is situated on the hills and there is a fascinating sea view.
The inspiration for the design came from the region of Campania and surroundings near the venue. I was so in love with everything around me when I firstly came there and sent my impressions to the bride and groom. Lemon trees on the rocks, 500 years buildings and amazing landscapes, so many antique things in interior of the home and blue and yellow accents in details. Moreover, the magnificent smell of orange trees everywhere!
We started the wedding weekend from Welcome Pizza Party. Originally the pizza was invented in Napoli, which was 100 km from us. It was so authentic to eat freshly baked pizza from the oven in the garden. This helped our guests to adopt and acclimate to the fabulous Italian food culture.
The wedding day itself started for our couple from the breakfast with prosecco, best Italian cheeses and grapes at the balcony with an amazing view. Bride and groom had quiet and calm time for each other.
The simple elegance of Maria’s look added festiveness to the all-rustic setting of the historic residence. Her earrings from Eolica Jewelry were in the shape of orange tree flowers, which bloomed in the venue’s garden. The same flowers were at her belt. The hair and makeup was soft, feminine but also warm and expressive.
The ceremony was very emotional. Maria went down the stairs beautifully decorated with white and yellow flowers by Flower Girl Decor. The color palette was inspired by the nature around.
Aperitif was followed by the family dinner, during which there were some presents from the guests and first dance of the bride and groom. All of them were sitting under grape pergola with an incredible view. The table setting was rather traditional yet modern. We bought plates with authentic ornament for each guest. After wedding everyone could bring it to Russia as a present. We used lemons for place cards and clay pottery with garden flowers as centerpieces. Lily is the favorite flower of Maria, so it was important for us to use it. Blue and green pale colors of textile helped us to make design more neutral and fresh. Thanks to the team of Flower Girl Decor, they helped to realize the design in hot weather of south Italy and with addiction to details that is so important for us.
The evening was really amazing. The air was filled with love and friendship. Maria and Max looked so happy at that moment. And that is the only thing that really matters.

Kaysha is a famous kizomba singer, born in Congo and raised in Paris, he found his love in Portugal. Valeria is an Instagram influencer form Portugal, her father is from Guinee-Bissau and mother from Belorussia.
They are beautiful, not only outside, but inside. They are classy. They are trustful. We have created this story of prince and princess, having a vision of a French movie “la Belle et la Bête”: thousand of roses, golden details, a mix of modern vibes with vintage decor.
From the couple:
- How did you and Valeria meet?
We met 5 years ago in the birthday party of a mutual friend, Dandy Lisbon. We spoke briefly that night, but met again at the miss Guinea Bissau contest through another mutual friend. That night we spoke about modeling work for my clothing brand and the conversation led to friendship. About 3 weeks later we started dating.
- A story of your proposal or a romantic story of how your relationship evolved leading to the wedding day
This is the most natural story I ever had. Everything went smoothly and without really thinking about it. She moved in the first year without really talking about it. It just felt like she belonged here. So one day, I was travelling and I just gave her my keys and told her I’d be back in 24h. 2 years later, I knew she would be the mother of my children and my wife. I actually knew I would propose 2 years before when I wrote the song “Everlasting” about the day of the proposal. And the instrumental of the song I re-composed to become her bride entrance.
- What inspired your wedding style and how you envisioned your dream wedding, what was especially important to you?
Together with Anastasiia (the wedding planner), we imagined a fairy tale wedding, based upon beauty and the beast. A movie, both Valeria and Anastasiia loved. The goal was to use colors without being too heavy on the colors as Valeria is into colorful things but Edward likes all things white and immaculate. What was important to us was the flowers, our guest being happy and honoring our parents.
As Valeria’s mom is Belarussian, her dad is Guine-Bissau and my parents are Congolese and my mom half Portuguese. We also tried to respect all of their traditions and at the same time doing things our way.
- How did Valeria choose her wedding dress, what did she love about it? A few words about her and your wedding looks (yours was unforgettable as well, so it would be great to hear how you chose it)
Valeria being a famous influencer, there was no doubt that her dress should be different and amazing at the same time. She loved the fact that her dress was classic but modern at the same time. Queen stuff.
I called my stylist friend Rui Martins and we chose everything together, from the tissue, the textures, the colors and it was a complete bespoke experience. We really looked like royalty.
- Anything else you’d love to share :)
The crazy thing about getting married is that, you only do it once with that person. And a few months later, you realize all the things that could have been simpler, all the things you spent that you didn’t really need and all the un-necessary stress. But after the burst of emotions and the 3 days of emotional hangover, it feels like a beautiful dream.
From the bride Lilia
My fairytale wedding, that’s how I tell everyone about my Big day! A simple ‘thank you’ can’t begin to express our gratitude for everything Marina and Alex did to make our day truly perfect! I think we are the luckiest couple to fall into their hands! They were not just our photographers, but closest friends who guided us throughout the whole day, shared all the emotions and helped in a critical moments.
When we decided to do a destination wedding, there was no doubts that it would be a wedding next to the ocean with a warm beautiful light and a nice and friendly atmosphere around. Portugal hit us with its magnificent sceneries and a number of amazing venues to choose for a wedding ceremony. The hardest thing was to choose one! It could be wedding at the beach overlooking crazy waves or a royal palace wedding in a charming forest, or as we chose, to get married in a castle by the beach. When we firstly saw this fort overlooking the blue ocean, it straight away matched with my princess dreams!
The next difficulty we met was a choice of our wedding photographer. My family is very close to photography and a good quality memories means a lot to us. At that point I think we was just super lucky as Marina and Alex had a couple of weddings in Portugal at the same time! As a future bride I was following the wedding industry and couldn’t even dream of having a Top European film photographers at my wedding, but magic happens!
As I mentioned, Marina and Alex became our close friend, as we shared together such an important moment of our live! They were so attentive to details, helped me relax in front of the camera, calmed down when I was nervous, they supported us the whole day! We had a few critical funny situations and without Marina’s help and good sense of humor, it could be really stressful. One moment happened when my 3 meters long veil was blown away by the wind over a huge cactus just before we were supposed to walk down the aisle with my dad. Ugh, thanks to Marina who dropped her camera straight away and helped me to get out of it!!!
The other funny story we will always remember and joke about, this is just had to happen, I won’t go into details, just mention a flowery bush, next to we were taking a picture, stepping into a dog poop, haha. No worries, we found a fountain close by!
Overall, I have to say our wedding photographers were the best! They helped me feel as a supermodel, managed to take amazing pictures of my husband though he hates being photographed, we had such a lovely couple photo shoot as well! I couldn’t even ask for a better result! All the memories will stay with us forever!
1. Come principessa.
While planning destination wedding, many couples choose the European villas for their day. First, they can make the ceremony, the photoshoot and wedding party at the same place. Secondly, they can make the accomodation for all the family and friends on the villa or nearby. And last, but not the least, the European villas are the ideal venue for wedding: impeccable interiors, luxurious gardens and parks, magnificent views and exclusive service.
We decided to share our experience and opinion about the most beautiful wedding locations in Europe and we begin with venues on the Como lake, Italy. Margarita Casati, planner of the exclusive weddings in Italy, in particular on Como, shared with us her organisation experience on these villas. – margaritacasati.it

FROM THE WEDDING PLANNERS
Polina and Denis dreamed to organize a luxurious, but at the same time very gentle and romantic wedding in a beautiful location with exquisite design. They spent a few years in Spain and fell in love with this country. We wanted to add the leitmotif of Spain, and to do it the most interestingly way. Living in Spain, Polina fell in love with the luxurious lilac wisteria, which has its branches wrapped around the ancient Spanish castles.
This image inspired our team to create the concept of “Flowering Wisteria”, which perfectly matched with the history of our couple’s story. The color palette of the wedding was based on Polina’s favorite shades– from dusty pink to deep purple. Developing layout design for wedding decoration, our team tried to create the maximum feeling of airiness. The design was filled with transparent material, cool colors, translucent fabrics and mirrored surfaces. The impression was as if guests found themselves in a magical crystal palace. Not only the favorite colors of the bride, but also the interests of the groom served as an inspiration for the decorators.
Denis is engaged in hockey for many years. Therefore decorators suggested adding metallic accessories for the morning preparations of the groom, and to create a feeling of ice surfaces at the banquet, setting mirrored tables and crystal chandeliers.
The ceremony area was decorated with unique arrangement – “real” tree of Wisteria in bloom. No one in Russia has ever created such a tree before. Blooming Wisteria blended into the landscape so harmoniously, that it seemed the tree grew at this place for centuries. Flowers framed the aisle with a monogram of the couple and one of the patterns of the wedding led to the tree. Transparent chairs in this area were perfectly in harmony with the gazebo and glimmered beautifully in the sunlight.
A unique set of invitations was developed specially for this wedding. The lavender envelope was decorated with wisteria, wax seal with the couples monogram and calligraphy. The invitation was printed on clear plastic. The second part of the invitation – the dress code card – contained an image of the greenhouse with wisteria that was a reference to the ceremony area and the entire concept of the wedding.
Some surprises were prepared for guests and newlyweds during the evening. Polina and Denis appeared in the hall in incredibly bright style. The groom performed a song welcoming the guests and opening banquet. In the middle of the evening Polina changed several dresses. At first a second wedding dress for the first dance, and then a costume dress – to perform special Latino dance for Denis. Denis, in turn, had prepared a surprise for Polina with full responsibility. Several training sessions with professional dancers and here it is – one of the most fun and memorable events of the evening. The groom went to the dance floor and danced to the popular tunes of recent years with his friends for seven minutes. The performance was very dynamic despite its length. The bride and the guests were lost in admiration.
The wedding cake with a height of almost one meter, made according to our sketches, appeared at the end of the evening. In conclusion, artists of fire-show performed effective show in Spanish style.
Preparing the shoot for Muravnik photography Barcelona workshop we decided to work with a real couple – Lisa and Claudio, getting inspiration from their story.
Lisa and Claudio:
She was born in snowy Sweden, him – under the radiant sun of Chile, destiny brought them to the Mediterranean in Barcelona.
Lightness of flowing silks and buff masonry walls of a Spanish manor of the 16th century, noble shine of gold and magical gardens of the Renaissance, blinding glow of diamonds, frozen in the color of burnt sugar, luxurious floral arrangements of orchids, ranunculus, roses, peonies and jasmine, caressed by copper rays of the setting sun – Our story breathes the air of a languid late afternoon in Spain. The story, created under the notes of pale golden Chardonnay, retained aristocratic elegance and refined luxury, all tied up by the sweetness of a vanilla Spanish sky.
Words of love:
Lisa’s morning began in the garden of a Spanish manor writing a letter to her beloved Claudio, tracing calligraphic monograms on handmade paper. A cream dessert colored boudoir lingerie made of natural silk, soft hair, a slight touch of make-up to emphasize the natural beauty of the bride created a gentle romantic image.
The bride’s vanity table was decorated with a composition of garden flowers, with noble accents of peony-roses and peonies, which complemented a vintage perfume bottle containing the bride’s favorite honey aroma.
Oneness with nature and harmony is felt in every detail, starting with the weightless style of bridal gown in contrast with the groom’s more classic looks, finishing with sophisticated orchids decorating the backs of forged iron chairs. The emerald-green landscape of the Santa Clotilde Gardens in Cataluniya, boasting classic sculptures, old staircases covered with wild ivy, mesmerizing views of the sea create a powerful equilibrium between luxury and finesse, the beauty of the moment frozen in time, under the rays of a setting sun.
Dinner at the Manor:
Antique silverware was chosen for the table, classic patinated gold plates, decorated with 24-carat gold ornaments, crystal glassware and bronze chandeliers on a silk tablecloth. Plated steel vase with floral arrangements of orchids, peony-roses, peonies, jasmine and other garden flowers. The gentle sounds of classical music and the light of the candles top off the wedding dinner with a dreamy, romantic atmosphere.
When we created the wedding story of Lisa and Claudio, our main reference point was harmony, a combination of elegance and luxury in every detail while retaining a sense of proportion to emphasize our couple, their feelings and emotions of the moment.
Love, romance, tenderness are some of the most recurrent themes in the fine-arts. Our classical approach to the art of wedding composition makes it so each one of the stories we create are filled with beauty, elegance and pure feelings.

From the bride:
We’ve decided to hold our ceremony in the mountains. They have a special atmosphere, there is something mysterious and attractive about them, something that keeps intimate feelings and emotions away from the public eye. And even though there are many beautiful and majestic mountains in Italy, Switzerland and France, our choice fell on a very picturesque place in our beloved Georgia – Kazbegi. It is hard to find more hospitable people, living with a sense of a holiday inside, and always smiling. And we just wanted to experience this inexpressible Georgian charm.
We invited only the closest people, making the celebration very cozy and homey warm. Our guests and us stayed in the world famous Room Hotel Kazbegi, which interior literally tells the story of the Georgian people.
The basis for the décor conception, as well as the entire wedding, served natural textures and ethnic motives. The location we’ve chosen, with all its rocks, mountain tops and slopes, was so original that only a few additional décor elements were necessary.
Our decorators picked amazingly beautiful natural materials: stones, impressive wooden tables, silk ribbons, snags, candles in the stone holders, and added some tender white and gray-blue flowers.
The wedding dress was custom made of natural silk with a long train easily picked up by the wind, making the bride look more mysterious. With the stylist we have decided to make three different images: the one for the morning had natural curls, the other for the walk had the hair on one side, and for the ceremony we put the hair back and added a three meter long veil.

От Peony Studio:
JUST MARRIED – THE MORNING AFTER
Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! This was the first and brightest emotion I had after seeing the photos! While viewing the pictures with Marina and Alex, and then watching them ten more times with friends, relatives and sometimes just by ourselves, we were each time instantly taken back to that wonderful day! We felt like crying and laughing while living through all the brightest, funniest, most exciting and touching moments of our day. All the photos we have received are viewed in one breath, as if it was a slow motion of our main day, which you can stop anytime and live through this or that moment of the wedding.
Marina and Alex, thank you so much for the wonderful, tender, airy, stylish and amazingly emotional pictures! By some wonderful magic, you captured the beauty of the villa and the place of the festivities, the atmosphere of the day, emotions, uncontrollable fun and all the happy tears!
We can forever watch the reportage photos taken during the reception and dinner, recalling and laughing at the funniest moments of the evening!
Separate ‘thank you’ for the photos of our morning, first look and the photo session. We look so beautiful and happy! And we like the original look of our pictures, without unnatural posing and facial expressions, sincere and reflecting the glow in our eyes and the emotions we felt at that moment.
Alex, my personal ‘thanks’ goes to you for your fluent English and the approach you found for my husband. Stewart really enjoyed our photo session, and he is happy with his pictures from the morning preparations (and with all the pictures, in fact). The fact that we have met for a short love story shoot a couple of months prior to the wedding worked amazingly in making feel easy, comfortable and relaxed during the wedding day.
We chose our wedding photographer carefully, because the photos are the memories, which would stay with us forever. These memories should be beautiful and alive. I was a bride who didn’t know what she wanted, but after getting the pictures from Marina and Alex, I realized they were just what I have always dreamed of.
Marina and Alexey were recently the official photographers for our wedding in Lake Como Italy.
From the first time we met we were made to feel comfortable and at ease and we believe this was key to making the experience and final photograph album excellent quality.
We started with an engagement photo session which gave us a chance to meet and get to know Marina and Alexey and vice versa. The ‘dry run’ really enabled us to relax and allowed the photographers to learn how best to photograph us.
The experience at our wedding day was equally relaxed. Marina and Alexey were there to capture every moment and every emotion, but without imposing on the experience of our special day. As the day progressed they were almost ‘invisible’ to us.
We were thrilled with the end result, the photos precisely captured every aspect of our wedding and the quality was outstanding. We ended up with an album which captured all the key memories and more, and is a precious momento of our wedding day.

FROM THE BRIDE AND GROOM
Dear Marina and Alex!
Thank you for what you’ve done for us! You have saved so many beautiful moments from our wedding for the years to come!
You guys are so easy going that you stop feeling awkward right away and relax on 100%. It is comfortable, carefree and funny with you! We felt no worries at all! You did everything for us, and we just relaxed and enjoyed our day.
And what a result… the photos you took reflect the exact emotions we wanted to save for many years to come. They are unreal: tender, stylish and natural! You magically managed to show the beauty of the place and the atmosphere of our wedding!
The bride Alexandra about preparation for the wedding.
Wedding is a bright and warm celebration not only for the marrying couple, but for the close relatives and friends as well. Therefore we wanted to create a very special atmosphere for the event, filled with the warmth of the summer, light white colors and a lot of lights. Many international blogs and magazines were studied for the inspiration, however the main themes and images were suggested by the nature itself.
It had been raining the entire week before the wedding, but on the wedding day the sun was up in the sky, shining brightly over the rich green colors of the country hotel “Rodniki” (The Springs). This place, located outside of the big city is quite unique and picturesque. There you find the stoned footpaths covered with wet moss, a century old fir-trees casting fancy shadows and each tree leaf reflecting its own tint of green.
The idea behind the décor was to make it look very natural and fit the perfect scenery around. The lounge zone was like the forest tent grown up among the bright green colors surrounding it. Romantic live music, Champaign and cheese table added to the atmosphere of the summer holiday. The ceremony, which took place almost at sunset, was lit by many small lights as if they were some tiny glowworms. The Bride entered the ceremony accompanied by the “Moon River” instrumental tune. In her hands she had a beautiful bouquet of irregular shape.
The accents of the banquet zone were created with the help of the tropical motives. The big monstera leaves served the bases for the plates. The wall behind the couple was decorated as if it was a part of an old house buried in the woods. Metallic candlesticks in the shape of snags reminded of the “souvenirs” from impassible forest. Finally, the mixture of round and long tables turned out to be an ideal option for the celebration – one long table was occupied by the two families’ members, the other round ones were taken by the friends.
It was important during the preparation stage to consider every detail, so that nothing was accidental. At the same time sticking to one specific style was not our intention. Therefore, we ended up with some quite unusual combinations. Vintage furniture was standing next to an armchair of modern style, and the stylish shoes made of plastic and metallic color leather completed the romantic image of the Bride.
The hardest and the longest was the process of choosing the wedding dress. It wasn’t easy to find a dress without paste, lace and excessive splendor, which would go along with natural décor but wouldn’t be too minimalistic. It was a difficult task! The decision to buy this particular dress, made of many layers of natural silk, was made after trying it on. It felt like the dress was made of tender leaves. The headpiece also had some nature themes in it and fit perfectly the elegant image of the Bride.
As for the Groom, here we gave our preferences to the classic attire in order to underline the solemnity of the moment. The traditional tuxedo of the Groom was meant to emphasize the feminine image of the Bride.
By choosing natural themes for our celebration we left no room for any insincere emotions. Only the closest family and friends were invited to the wedding whose happy laughter and tears made it all worth it. The celebration turned out to be so bright that every photo radiates its warmth even during the cold winter evenings.

FROM THE BRIDE AND GROOM
Dear Marina and Alex!
This is happiness when in a big wedding world you find people who can feel the beauty in such way and show it through their work! Every detail, every camera angle, color, moment – all is ideal and harmonic in each photograph. Each photograph is like a dream came true. We have got exactly what we had been dreaming of for a long time, and maybe hadn’t had a chance to examine closely while being ‘inside’ the celebration. Friends and family, everyone found the beauty, the joy and the sincerity on their photographs.
We were especially impressed by the film photographs that turned out to be so alive, deep in color and tender. These are the pictures that we want to frame and surround us with, enjoying them day after day. You managed to have the film photographs reflect the bright moments and the movement, but in even more elegant way.
As any couple we were very nervous and there weren’t a single thought in our heads. Which background to choose, who to have a picture with, how to behave? The only emotion we could show was probably the fright. Guests, bridesmaids and parents were in about the same state of confusion. But you have always found the right words, which put the smiles on our faces. You, as true artists, saw the big picture and directed the shoot easily and naturally.
You helped us a lot not only during the wedding day, but along the process as well. Valuable advices and ideas from Marina helped to create the atmosphere that ultimately impressed all the guests. We sincerely believe that only a few people are able to feel and see the beauty in such a way, and especially create it in their work.
You are not just real professionals, but luminous people as well, pleasant to communicate with. Your eyes are bright with the excitement at each meeting, which speaks of a big love for your craft. All serious moments are easily resolved with you. And a special ‘thanks’ for helping us with some difficulties we had! This celebration wouldn’t take place without you!
We are so glad that we have met such wonderful photographers and look forward to a chance to create something beautiful together with you once again.
